I just went to the P.O. to mail something secret ... but look what I found. More great stamps! When I was a kid, besides being a pest, I was a philatelist. Apparently I never quite grew out of either one.

One of the nicest presents I've ever received: a box of 24 spiral ring notebooks. I won't have to worry about running out of paper again for at least six weeks.

Magic

Look what my publisher just sent me! They're the first stamps ever to use thermochromic ink. If you put your finger on the center they change and the moon shows!

Can you believe this seafoam green beauty Tom found yesterday evening?

The Bagel Boys: Brian Carter, Peter Strindberg, Skip Henderson, Jack Kamesar, and Harry Cohen

One of the most fun opening parties in the history of FOG. 92-year-old Harry Cohen is showing nineteen Abstract Expressionist paintings, all painted from 2016 to the present.

Finished. One Hundred and Eleven Illustrations.

I'm giddy with happiness. The picture above was the 111th illustration, and I finished it this morning. (This one isn't the last picture in the book––actually, it falls in Chapter 3.)  All these illustrations are for my first chapter book called It's Not Easy Being Mimi, to be published Fall of 2018 by Beach Lane Books / Simon & Schuster.

My long list of illustrations. It was so much fun crossing them out one by one as I finished them. Two months ago I could not imagine getting through this list. Isn't all that pink highlighter glorious?
